Manfred, the star of Berlin's Apollo Theater and a notorious womanizer, is in Barcelona for filming. There he meets Manuela del Orta. He sees her as the ideal partner for his new revue in Berlin. However, she has to cancel due to illness. His new partner becomes Fritzi. A year later, Manuela travels to Berlin with her ballet master and meets Manfred, who doesn't recognize her but gives her a recommendation for the Apollo Theater. This leads to multiple complications and comedic misunderstandings.
