"...nur ein Komödiant" (...Only a Comedian) is a 1935 German historical drama film set in the Rococo era (1730-1780). Contrary to Wikipedia, I don’t agree that the plot is anti-authoritarian and critical of fascism. It perfectly aligns with the national socialist agenda of social justice, elevating and empowering “Volk”.
