Ray of Sunshine

Because of her financial difficulties, Anna wishes to drown herself in the Danube. Things aren’t going any better for the chauffeur Hans, but he nonetheless prevents her from taking her life. The two feel more secure going through life as a couple and become one. They use the money Hans has saved up to get installment credit for a cab. But after an accident, Hans isn’t able to work and the installment payments already given for the cab might end up forfeited.
