Ein Robinson (A German Robinson Crusoe) is a drama directed by Arnold Fanck. It follows a sailor so deeply disgusted by the post-WWI conditions and political climate in Weimar Germany that he voluntarily exiles himself to a solitary, desert island off the coast of Chile, only to find renewed hope in the new National Socialist government, which inspires him and restores his pride in the Fatherland.
