The violinist comes to Jerusalem in order to play the "Jewish melody" on the outskirts of the old city, in the Promised Land.
The film was created within the framework of the Jewish Cultural Association "Yidisher Kulturbund", which existed in Germany from 1933 to 1941, in which Jews were allowed to continue their creative activities. The film was shot in Jerusalem, in the old city, in the winter of 1934-1935. Editing and sound recording - in Berlin at the Tobis Clangfilm studio.
