Franziska Gaal, the star of the movie plays a schoolgirl who runs into nothing but trouble when she finds an abandoned baby on the steps of an orphanage. Almost immediately, Gaal is presumed to be the mother of the child.

Excellent screwball comedy with a happy ending. I have also included the 1939 American version/remake- Bachelor Mother for viewers to compare. I think that this is one of the few decent Hollywood productions in spite of substantial changes in the plot.
