June Fifth (forbidden by Allied military censorship)
Drama, Propaganda, War
Adapted from Henrik Ibsen's play "Peer Gynt," which tells the story of a self-centered Norwegian man, Peer Gynt, who embarks on a series of adventures around the world.
The movie is German precursor to “Citizen Kane”. It contrasts the anglo-saxon life goals of self-enrichment and individualism with the national socialist life goals of love for the native land, family values and sharing wealth with employees.
