The Escape to Nice (digital quality)
Flucht nach Nizza ("Flight to Nice") is a comedy-crime film directed by James Bauer. The story follows Fritz Butenschön (Georg Alexander), a man who becomes a suspect in a theft. His hairdresser and a part time amateur detective, Hugo Lehmann, however, believes Butenschön to be innocent and searches for exculpatory evidence. To escape the police and clear his name, Butenschön flees to the French Riviera, specifically Nice. Along the way, he encounters a variety of characters, leading to a series of comedic misunderstandings and romantic entanglements before his innocence is proven.
