Frau über Bord / Woman overboard (also known as Das Mädchen Juanita / The Girl Juanita ) is a 1945 romantic comedy/mistaken identity film directed by Wolfgang Staudte, which premiered in 1952 as an "Überläufer" (transitional film). The plot follows a married German man (Axel von Ambesser) facing romantic chaos when his young mistress (Charlotte Schellhorn) sneaks aboard a ship to follow him home, leading to a love triangle upon his wife's arrival. Arriving in Bremen and visiting the rich uncle (Heinrich George), misunderstandings ensue who is Ambesser's wife while he tries to win his real one back.
