Comedy

Zwei Windhunde (English title: Two Greyhounds) is a satirical comedy short directed by Douglas Sirk (then working under his real name, Detlef Sierck). The film serves as Sirk’s directorial debut. Two men seeking a job as accountants meet in the company's office and mistake each other for the boss. The "interview" ultimately results in a partnership agreement.
Hilarious comedy short. Excellent cast. A witty critique of Weimar Republic capitalism, the film uses constant one-upmanship and mistaken identities to mock the period’s business practices.
