Wasser für Canitoga (Water for Canitoga) is a "Northern" film starring Hans Albers as a rugged engineer tasked with constructing a vital water pipeline in 1905 Canada. He faces sabotage, false accusations, and dangers, ultimately sacrificing his life to complete the project.
An interesting, intriguing story with a clear anti-capitalist and anti-corporation undertone. Senator Sanders could have written the script. In my opinion, the 35-minute episode of the New Year celebration deserves special attention.
