Drama, Propaganda

August Pipin is a loyal, level-headed cashier who normally stays calm no matter what problems arise. His orderly life takes a chaotic and comedic turn when a sudden series of misadventures and bizarre misunderstandings disrupts his routine. A number of prominent songs were featured in the film, including "Pipin, das macht Dir keiner nach" and "Ach, wäre das schön, wenn Du mich lieben könntest".

Lighthearted, pleasant, early sound-era vehicle tailored perfectly to Heinz Rühmann’s signature comedic style.
